One shaliach for all the reminders.

My AI agents started handing their reminders to a single reminders agent. Each reminder goes out once and then deletes itself.

On October 6, I set up one shaliach for all my reminders. Work, calendar and home. (Shluchim, singular shaliach, is Hebrew for “emissaries”. It’s what I call my AI agents.)

And the other shluchim started handing their reminders over to it, instead of keeping copies themselves.

How it works:

Every reminder becomes a one-time routine. It goes out once, in Hebrew, and deletes itself.

Examples:

Basher handed over two reminders for October 7, and deleted his own copies.

At 08:49, a reminder to talk to the head of the dev team about switching tools: pnpm and Biome (two development tools).

At 09:08, a reminder to check my email and see whether the credit card company had answered about a refund. They had already replied that the refund would show up within 3 business days. So the shaliach just reported back, and no follow-up was needed.

dr eggbot handed over a reminder for a family birthday, which went out three days ahead.

Basher added a reminder for October 12, to try connecting the shaliach Timmy with someone from work.

And the customer service shaliach added a reminder for October 13 to handle help center questions, with the drafts to start from.

Bonus:

After the birthday reminder, I asked for a cool cake idea.

The shaliach did two rounds of research on Tel Aviv bakeries, and the second one focused on delivery.

It came back with ranked options and links. Nothing was ordered, and nobody was contacted.
