# A chef plans my weekly dinners, and now fills the cart too.

> My AI chef plans a seasonal weekly menu, writes the shopping list, and fills a supermarket cart through my own computer's network.

I'm a beginner cook.

I wanted a realistic way to get a home-cooked dinner on the table.
Gentle, soft food that works for the whole family, and no fish.

## How it works:

Every Monday at 08:03, Chef sends a plan for about 4 servings.
(Chef is one of my shluchim. That's Hebrew for "emissaries", and it's what I call my AI agents.)

First he checks live sources on what's in season in Israel.
This week: pumpkin, butternut squash, cauliflower, broccoli and corn.
And for dessert, Israeli kiwi and persimmon.

He plans 7 dinners of 20 to 45 minutes each,
without repeating last week.

And in a sensible order.
Broccoli first, because it wilts fastest.
And one dinner is a double batch, so it covers the next day's lunch too.

Then comes a shopping list by category, in clean Hebrew.

I marked the plan for October 5 to 11 with 💯.

## The shopping:

Rami Levy and Shufersal, two Israeli supermarket chains, blocked Chef's cloud computer,
because it connects from an American network.

```chat
seffy: Can you change your computer's access so it connects from Israel? Otherwise we get blocked.
```

```chat-he
seffy: תוכל לשנות את הגישה של המחשב שלך שיגש מישראל כי אחרת אנחנו נחסמים
```

We tried a free VPN (a connection that masks where you're browsing from) and Wolt, and gave up.

On September 24, I turned on the option in Grok Bot to route traffic through my own computer.
Chef got an Israeli IP (network address), and filled a Rami Levy cart with the whole list.

19 items plus cottage cheese,
including delivery, as a guest, without paying.

Meanwhile, the pantry items went into an iHerb order.

## What came out:

A rule and a skill (a reusable capability) shared by all the shluchim.
When shopping in Israel, if a site blocks us, retry through my network.
And if that fails too, ask me to check that the app is open.

## What's next:

From next Monday, the run goes end to end.
Menu, a full Rami Levy cart through my network, I log in and pay.
Delivery, and I cook.

The first full loop, from recipe to stovetop.

The shluchim involved: Chef, and Basher, who made his profile picture.

## What to take from this:

**Seasonality sets the menu.**
What's in the market this week, ordered by what wilts first.

**Site blocking you? Go through my network.**
An Israeli IP solved what a free VPN couldn't.

**The shaliach fills the cart, I pay.**
The cart is ready, and the final decision stays with me.
